Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, Saad Memon (daasnomem) is currently living in Washington D.C, an inspirational frontier to reside in. Daasnomem is a DJ/producer who is associated with house and techno when it comes to his work. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Audio Engineering/Technology, daasnomem plans to work with sound, creatively and technically. A few of his musical influences today include Sebastian Mullaert, Function, Tale of Us, Ben Klock, Rodhad, Chris Liebing, David August and Ricardo Villalobos. Daasnomem has frequent gigs in his hometown of Karachi, and plans to promote underground music there to his best efforts. He also has his mix featured on DC House Grooves, an online presence for the underground scene in Washington D.C. The mix is available on iTunes podcasts and one of his tracks, ‘The Machine’, was featured on a Red Bull Music Academy show, Scenery.
